Elijah Cherkez is a Certified Clinical Research Professional who graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Cellular and Molecular Biology. He is a clinical researcher who was certified through the Society of Clinical Research Association (SOCRA) and worked in clinical research at UC Davis Health System and Sutter Health System for a combined of 7 years. His involvement included working in global multi-site scientific research, laboratory work, as well as several industry-sponsored clinical trials in the following therapeutic areas: breast cancer, oral cancer, genetics, metabolism, cardiology, autism, fragile-X, and ear, nose and throat conditions. Elijah is involved in the community by attending church, raising awareness of better health practices and sits on the Research and Education Community Advisory Board (RECAB) at UC Davis Health, where he is committed to helping researchers with consultation in ethical dilemmas and GCP, as well as reach out to the community. His passion is advancing public health and research at DaVinci Research. His hobbies include, beekeeping, camping, hiking, playing soccer, volleyball, long-distance road cycling, photography, and music.
