Clinical Research Coordinator & BioAnalytical Manager

Bryan Hughes is a Clinical Research Coordinator and BioAnalytical Manager with over 27 years in the healthcare industry. He went to CSU, Sacramento, receiving his BS degree in Physical Education with an Athletic Training curriculum. He started his research career at UC Davis in the General Institute for Medicine working on multiple anti-coagulant-based therapies. The work was both challenging and rewarding. Patient care and the advancement of new therapies made him decide to pursue a career as a Clinical Research Coordinator, and he became certified by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in April 2003. Bryan then went on to work for a Site Management Organization called AMDOC, and he was exposed to multiple therapeutic areas of medicine. It was there that he decided to start his own research business, Quality Control Research, Inc. After 7 years and due to family circumstances he decided to sell the business and he went to work directly for bio-pharmaceutical companies as a Biosample Management Associate, as well as BioAnalytical Manager. He enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and his furry friends (a dog and two cats). In his free time, he likes to hike, cycle, ski, weight lift and do yoga.
