Dr.Stanley Cheng is a board-certified Allergist and Clinical Immunologist dedicated to advancing patient care through targeted clinical research. A San Francisco Bay Area native, he earned his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from UC Berkeley, his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro University California, and completed his Allergy and Immunology fellowship at the University at Buffalo. Dr. Cheng’s research interests span the full spectrum of allergic and immunologic diseases—investigating the underlying mechanisms of asthma, atopic dermatitis, chronic urticaria, primary immunodeficiencies, and eosinophilic esophagitis. His primary goal is to bridge the gap between immunological science and clinical practice, translating complex discoveries into innovative therapies that significantly improve patients’ quality of life.

In addition to his broad allergy/immunology focus, Dr. Cheng maintains a specialized clinical and research interest in the pathophysiology and advanced management of food and drug allergies, but is involved in research for any allergic condition. Driven by a deep appreciation for the culinary arts and exploring diverse cuisines, he is particularly passionate about mitigating the psychosocial and physical burdens of food-related adverse reactions through evidence-based breakthroughs. Outside of his clinical and research endeavors, Dr. Cheng enjoys staying active through tennis, volleyball, hiking, and camping. He loves traveling and spending time with his wife and two sons.
