Stefanie Troja, PA-C is a Sub-Investigator with DaVinci Research and a Physician Assistant with Sutter Medical Foundation in Nuclear Medicine.

She completed her undergraduate studies at San José State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and graduating summa cum laude. During her time there, she conducted research with Dr. Marcelle Dougan on health and wellness following cancer and other significant illnesses and contributed to the Society of Public Health Education journal under Dr. Kathleen Roe. She was also a collegiate softball player and received the Distinguished Service Award from the School of Health Sciences faculty.

She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of the Pacific in Sacramento, graduating in April 2025. While in PA school, she received both the Academic Excellence Award and the Clinical Excellence Award, as selected by faculty and clinical preceptors. She also remained active in the California Academy of Physician Associates (CAPA) and the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA).

At DaVinci Research, she serves as a Sub-Investigator, contributing to clinical trials that advance new therapies. She also practices with Sutter Medical Foundation in Nuclear Medicine. Looking ahead, she hopes to serve as a clinical preceptor to help train future PA students.

A Sacramento native with strong family roots in the area, she is grateful to begin her career in the community where she grew up. Outside of work, she enjoys mountain biking, camping, and spending time with her Belgian Malinois, Evi, and her chickens. She also volunteers her time mentoring young athletes through local softball programs.
